Advancing the Diagnostic-to-Treatment Continuum in Hematologic Malignancies – Irvine

Irvine, California, is home to a dynamic community of clinical innovation, translational research, and advanced cancer care. Presented in partnership with City of Hope Orange County, this program brings together hematologists, oncologists, pathologists, pharmacists, nurses, advanced practice providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to examine the rapidly evolving landscape of hematologic malignancies.

The program is co-chaired by Tanya Siddiqi, MD, Medical Director of Lymphoma and IEC Programs at City of Hope Orange County and Professor in the Department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation. Dr. Siddiqi is a nationally recognized leader in lymphoid malignancies and cellular therapies, with extensive experience in clinical research and the development of novel treatment strategies in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, lymphoma, and immune effector cell therapy.

Joining her as co-chair is Lisa Lee, MD, Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Hematology and Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation at City of Hope. Dr. Lee brings a strong clinical focus on hematologic malignancies and multidisciplinary patient care, with an emphasis on translating emerging evidence and therapeutic advances into practical, individualized treatment strategies.

This clinically focused program will examine contemporary and emerging approaches across a broad range of hematologic malignancies, with particular emphasis on the increasingly complex decisions surrounding treatment selection, sequencing, and patient management. Through expert-led presentations, interactive panel discussions, and clinically relevant case-based dialogue, faculty will explore advances in myeloid and lymphoid malignancies, multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, monoclonal gammopathies, cellular therapy, CAR-T therapy, bispecific antibodies, and other emerging treatment approaches.

The program will also address the expanding role of precision diagnostics, measurable residual disease (MRD), molecular and genomic testing, toxicity management, and patient selection as new therapies move into earlier lines of care and treatment pathways become increasingly individualized.

By bringing together experts across diagnosis, treatment, transplantation, cellular therapy, pharmacy, nursing, and supportive care, the conference is designed to foster multidisciplinary discussion and provide participants with practical insights that can be applied directly to clinical decision-making and patient management.
