Advancing Precision Cancer Care Through Multidisciplinary Collaboration
August 27, 2027

Advancing the Diagnostic-to-Treatment Continuum in Cancer Care –
Madison

Returning to Madison, Wisconsin, APO | APE will once again bring together leading voices in oncology, hematology, pathology, molecular diagnostics, and translational science for a multidisciplinary program focused on the advances transforming precision cancer care.

Presented in partnership with the University of Wisconsin and chaired by Razelle Kurzrock, MD, FACP, and Jeremy Kratz, MD, the program will build on the collaborative foundation established in Madison – connecting scientific discovery, molecular insight, diagnostic innovation, and therapeutic decision-making across the cancer care continuum.

The conference will explore how emerging biomarkers, molecular and genomic profiling, evolving disease biology, and novel therapies are changing the way cancer is diagnosed, characterized, and treated across both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.

Through expert-led presentations, interactive panel discussions, and clinically relevant education, attendees will examine advances across multiple tumor types while exploring the expanding role of precision diagnostics, biomarker-guided treatment, and molecularly informed care in everyday clinical practice.

Key areas of focus will include targeted therapies, immunotherapy, genomic and molecular testing, liquid biopsy and ctDNA, measurable residual disease (MRD), emerging diagnostic technologies, treatment resistance, and novel therapeutic strategies – with an emphasis on translating rapidly evolving science into meaningful clinical decisions.

By bringing together specialists across diagnosis, molecular characterization, translational research, and treatment, the Madison conference creates a collaborative environment for exploring the full diagnostic-to-treatment continuum and the innovations shaping the future of precision cancer care.
