Advancing the Diagnostic-to-Treatment Continuum in Hematologic Malignancies – Jacksonville

Jacksonville brings together leading experts in hematologic oncology, hematopathology, molecular diagnostics, and translational science to explore the rapidly evolving care of patients with hematologic malignancies.

Chaired by Julio Chavez, MD, of Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, the conference will examine how advances in disease biology, molecular diagnostics, and emerging therapies are reshaping the diagnosis and treatment of blood cancers.

Through expert-led presentations, multidisciplinary discussion, and clinically relevant case-based education, the program will highlight evolving approaches across leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and other hematologic malignancies.

Participants will gain practical insights into molecular and genomic profiling, biomarker testing, measurable residual disease (MRD), evolving disease classification, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, cellular therapy, and emerging treatment strategies – with an emphasis on translating diagnostic and molecular findings into more informed, individualized treatment decisions.

By bringing together the specialists responsible for diagnosis, molecular characterization, and treatment, the Jacksonville conference connects the laboratory and the clinic across the full diagnostic-to-treatment continuum in hematologic cancer care.
