Advancing the Diagnostic-to-Treatment Continuum in Hematologic Malignancies – Seattle

Seattle continues to stand at the forefront of cancer innovation, bringing together leading experts in hematologic oncology, hematopathology, molecular diagnostics, and translational science to advance the care of patients with blood cancers.

Returning as conference chairs, Jerald Radich, MD, and Cecilia Yeung, MD, of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, will lead this one-day program focused on the rapidly evolving landscape of hematologic malignancies and the growing role of precision diagnostics in guiding treatment decisions.

Through expert-led presentations, multidisciplinary discussion, and clinically relevant case-based education, the program will explore emerging advances across leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms, and other hematologic malignancies.

Participants will gain practical insights into areas such as molecular and genomic profiling, biomarker testing, measurable residual disease (MRD), evolving disease classification, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, cellular therapy, and emerging treatment strategies—with an emphasis on translating diagnostic findings into more informed, individualized patient care.

By bringing together the specialists responsible for diagnosis, molecular characterization, and treatment, the Seattle 2027 program will connect the laboratory and the clinic across the full diagnostic-to-treatment continuum in hematologic cancer care.
